Richard Stapleton (* im County Tipperary; † 31. Juli 1949) war ein irischer Politiker der Irish Labour Party. Von 1943 bis 1944 war er Teachta Dála (Abgeordneter) im Dáil Éireann, dem Unterhaus des irischen Parlaments (Oireachtas).

Leben

Stapleton versuchte erstmals bei den Wahlen 1932 im Wahlkreis Tipperary in den Dáil gewählt zu werden. Dies misslang jedoch. Er konnte aber bei den Wahlen 1943 dann einen Sitz erringen, den er aber schon elf Monate später bei den Wahlen Wahlen 1944 verlor. Bei den .Wahlen 1948 konnte er ihn auch nicht zurückgewinnen.cite-ref-1[1]
